Pending board approval, March 23, 2018, will be converted from an instructional day to a professional development day. The Tennessee Department of Education granted permission to use stockpiled day(s) for professional development day(s) for the 2017-18 district calendar. Please see the attached approval letter from the commissioner.

Staff Recommendation:

I recommend the approval of this amendment to the 2017-2018 school calendar.
